I would like to be able to define filters or groups of filters independently of bookmarks. Subsequently, I would like to be able to apply these filters or groups of filters to multiple bookmarks.

An example: I use Website Watcher to monitor several projects on sourceforge.net. I use several filters on each project that are identical. With this new feature, I would define a group of filters named "sourceforge common" and apply it to all of my sourceforge project bookmarks. Occasionally, sourceforge.net changes all of its project pages, which would motivate me to change my filters. At such a time, I would modify my "sourceforge common" filter (or filter group). I would not have to modify each of my sourceforge project bookmarks. My desire is to avoid this repetitive task.

Yes, this is something that is planned in a future version.
