WSW 4.30 beta 3
WinXP Pro SP2

I have one particular RSS feed I monitor. It is set with both "Automatically jump to the first..." settings unchecked (under Bookmark > Options). However, sometimes when I double click this bookmark, WSW does jump to the first change in the preview window. This only happens sometimes, not each and every time I double click it to preview.

I have not seen this problem with any other bookmarks yet.

Under Bookmark > Advanced > RSS/Atom, I have "headlines" selected.

The URL being monitored is:

http://feeds.feedburner.com/TheNationWeblogs

I have now entered this feed to my list, lets see if I could reproduce it. Could you probably send me your bookmark, then I can test it with the same configuration...

When you have this behavior and open the bookmark a second time, do you have the same behavior then? Or doesn't it jump to the first change if you open it again?

If I preview some other bookmark and then go back to this one, it sometimes jumps to the first change, and other times does not.

Is the bookmark opened correctly when you re-open it with a double click?

I tried to say this in my previous post... What happens is that any time I double click this bookmark to open it in the preview pane--literally any time--it may jump to the first change, or it may do what it is supposed to do, which is open yet remain scrolled to the very top of the page.

Examples: Just now I ran WSW for the first time today. This bookmark had not changed, but when I double clicked it, it opened and scrolled to the first and most-recent change. I opened another bookmark and then opened this bookmark again... Then it opened and didn't scroll to first change.... A third time, and it scrolled to the first change again.

I'm about to send you the exported bookmark. Sorry for not doing so sooner.

Seems that I cannot reproduce it here. But I'll keep this bookmark in my list for the next days/weeks, lets see if I can reproduce it in future.

Does the URL (displayed in the URL field) have the anchor #wswchange after the page jumps to the first change?

The bookmark in question has since been updated again (i.e. new changes were found). I have not been able to reproduce the problem since then! I know, it's strange. I have no idea. Sorry.
