Solution Bookmark lists are stored in files with the extension .wsw whereby always one bookmark file is opened in WebSite-Watcher.

The number of bookmarks per bookmark file is not limited, but the more bookmarks you have in a bookmark file the more resources are used. Probably WebSite-Watcher can slow down with lots of bookmarks.

We personally don't use more than approximately 10.000 bookmarks per bookmark file, but you can also use more. Simply try it on your system.

The number of bookmark files is unlimited (or only limited due to hard disk space), you can open these files with File+Open. If you have hundreds of thousands of bookmarks then you should divide them into different bookmark files.
