The features described below are only available in the registered Business Edition and are not available in the Trial version or the Free/Personal Editions.

This topic explains how to automatically install the license key and how to predefine specific program configurations. This can be useful when installing and maintaining WebSite-Watcher on multiple PCs or workstations.

Automatic installation (for all users of a computer)

Before installing WebSite-Watcher, create an INI file named wswconfig.ini and save it in the same folder as wswsetup.exe. During installation, the file wswconfig.ini is copied to the setup folder.

All options defined in wswconfig.ini are imported each time WebSite-Watcher starts. Users cannot overwrite these options in the program configuration.

Manual installation (for a single user of a computer)

Alternatively, copy the file wswconfig.ini manually to the user's config folder. When WebSite-Watcher starts, this file is imported once. The file is only imported if no wswconfig.ini file exists in the setup folder.

The exact path of this file is:

c:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\aignes\WebSite-Watcher\config\wswconfig.ini

wswconfig.ini

The file wswconfig.ini can contain the following sections and fields:
