As an alternative to manual checks, WebSite-Watcher provides an automated checking method called AutoWatch. AutoWatch monitors Bookmarks automatically based on predefined time settings.

How to Use AutoWatch

1.  Enable AutoWatch for the desired Bookmarks.

2.  Start AutoWatch mode.

Enable AutoWatch for a Bookmark

  • Bookmark Properties
Open the Bookmark properties by right-clicking a Bookmark and selecting "Properties". Select the AutoWatch tab. In this section, you can enable AutoWatch and optionally define additional time restrictions that control when and how often the Bookmark is checked. To apply these settings to multiple Bookmarks, select the desired Bookmarks, right-click the selection, and choose "Set properties in all selected bookmarks...".

  • Drag and Drop
Drag and drop Bookmarks into the AutoWatch folder to enable AutoWatch using the predefined time settings. This action does not move the Bookmarks into the AutoWatch folder. It only enables the AutoWatch feature.

  • Predefined Configuration
You can define a default AutoWatch configuration for new Bookmarks in the program configuration using the button "Assign bookmark properties". This can also be configured per folder in the folder properties.

All Bookmarks with AutoWatch enabled are listed in the AutoWatch folder.

Start AutoWatch Mode

Click the AutoWatch button ui01a_autowatch in the main toolbar to start AutoWatch mode.

Bookmarks are only monitored automatically when this button is enabled.
