Symbols in Bookmark List
Each Bookmark can display one or more of the following icons.
A Bookmark can be assigned a small flag. The main purpose is to provide a simple visual marker, so you can quickly identify important Bookmarks. Additional functions are based on these flags, for example "Don't auto-delete bookmarks with flags" in the folder properties. You can assign a flag by double-clicking the first column of the Bookmark, or by using the context menu, which provides additional flag colors.
This icon appears when notes have been entered in the Bookmark properties. Double-click this icon to open the separate Notes dialog without opening the Bookmark properties.
The Bookmark is marked as a HotSite. All Bookmarks with this flag are listed in the "HotSites" folder.
The Bookmark is a Master-Bookmark. This means that the Follow-Links feature is enabled in the Bookmark properties.
The Bookmark is a child of a Master-Bookmark and was added automatically by the Follow-Links feature.
The Bookmark is queued for checking. is queued for checking.
An error occurred during the Bookmark check, and the Bookmark was queued for a second check.
The Bookmark is currently being checked.
An error occurred during the Bookmark check, and the Bookmark is currently being checked a second time.
