WebSite-Watcher App
The WebSite-Watcher App can be used to read changed Bookmarks on your Smartphone.
WebSite-Watcher for Windows must be running. It uses the configured WebDAV server, or alternatively your personal Dropbox account, to send changed Bookmarks or status messages, for example if emails could not be sent, to the App.
Requirements
- WebSite-Watcher for Windows
- WebSite-Watcher App (Free or Pro Edition)
- WebDAV server or Dropbox account
Setup required on your PC
Steps:
1. In WebSite-Watcher, open the program configuration.
2. Click the button "WSW App".
3. Enter the WebDAV configuration, or connect WebSite-Watcher to your Dropbox account.
Setup required on your Phone
Steps:
1. Open the module "WSW for Windows".
2. Click the button "Connect to Cloud".
3. Select whether you want to use a WebDAV server or your personal Dropbox account.
4. Enter the WebDAV configuration, or connect WebSite-Watcher to your Dropbox account.
Upload Bookmarks and Cache files
WebSite-Watcher periodically sends a list of updated Bookmarks to the cloud, so you can see on your Smartphone which Bookmarks have changed. To view highlighted changes on your Smartphone, you must also upload the Bookmark Cache files. Enable Phone Mode to upload these files. Phone Mode is optional and disabled by default.
