Ignore updates via Blacklist/Whitelist

The "Ignore updates" feature supports two different modes:

  • Blacklist mode
This mode prevents an update notification when a page contains a specific predefined text. It can be used when a page regularly displays a certain error message, for example "Too many users online, please try again later" or "Could not connect to database".

  • Whitelist mode
This mode allows an update notification only when a page contains a specific predefined text. If the predefined whitelisted text is not found on the page, WebSite-Watcher does not report an update.
