A simple page reports an error while it shows fine in the browser
Sometimes a (misconfigured) server sends an error code for existing pages. If such a case, WebSite-Watcher shows an error message instead of the real page (while your Internet Browser might ignore that error code and display the page).
If you get an error continuously in WebSite-Watcher, the following work around might help:
1. | Open bookmark properties |
2. | Select the "Advanced" tab |
3. | Select "Check options" on the left side |
4. | Check the option "Ignore error codes from server" |
If this configuration doesn't solve the problem, you can try if using the check technology "Chromium / Browser" or "Internet Explorer / Browser" solves your problem. Further information can be found at https://www.aignes.com/wswhelp/help_howto_javascript.htm
