Get notified on your phone when WebSite-Watcher is not running or sending e-mails is broken
User question:

Via Pushover
If you're a Pushover user, then this is the quickest way to get a notification when an e-mail could not be sent. Pushover messages are similar to SMS but without costs per message. Pushover messages can be received on a wide range of devices, eg. iOS, Android, macOS and Windows. To be able to use this feature you need your own Pushover account. More information about Pushover can be found at www.pushover.net

Via the WebSite-Watcher App
You can also use the WebSite-Watcher App (available for Android and iOS) to get notifications on your phone when WebSite-Watcher is not running or when e-mails could not be sent. You will get a notification when you add the special bookmark WSW-for-Windows and check your bookmark list on your phone.
1. App: Add the bookmark WSW-for-Windows
If not already done, add the special bookmark "WSW for Windows" to your bookmark list.
2. App: Configure the bookmark WSW-for-Windows
To get notified when WebSite-Watcher is not running or when actions could not be executed successfully, you can use this configuration:
• | Disable the option "Alert on updates" |
• | Enable the option to get alerts when WebSite-Watcher is not running |
3. Windows: WebSite-Watcher has problems sending e-mails
If WebSite-Watcher cannot send all e-mails, you'll get a red error message as shown the following video.
4. App: Check your app bookmarks
The bookmark "WSW for Windows" will now alert an update when e-mails could not be sent.
