How to copy bookmarks and configurations from one PC to another PC
WebSite-Watcher has an internal Backup/Restore functionality that can also be used to copy/transfer bookmarks between PCs.
Steps to copy bookmarks and program configurations from PC-1 to PC-2:
| 1. | On PC-1: Click Tools + Backup/Restore |
| 2. | On PC-1: Select the "Backup" box and follow the assistant. This will create a single .zip file, in our example it's named wsw_bookmark.zip. |
| 3. | Copy the file wsw_bookmark.zip from PC-1 to PC-2 |
| 4. | On PC-2: Click Tools + Backup/Restore |
| 5. | On PC-2: Select the "Restore" box and follow the assistant. In a further step the assistant asks for the "Backup file", here you have to enter the file wsw_bookmark.zip from step #2 |
If you no longer need WebSite-Watcher on PC1, you can deactivate the license in the Help menu (Deactivate license).
