Can I ignore specific parts of a web page?

Yes, this is possible with the filter system. You have to create Ignore-Filters to ignore unwanted parts of a web page.

There are several ways:

1.The AutoFilter functionality where WebSite-Watcher tries to create these kind of filters automatically. The AutoFilter functionality works very well with changing dates, changing visitor numbers, etc.

2.By using the Filter Assistant. Here you have to select the text you want to ignore and choose an appropriate filter type (for example "ignore everything from the page beginning to the selected text" or "the selected text contains changing numbers").

3.Creating the filter manually with simple Wildcard filters or Regular Expressions.
